A pre-[[Cataclysm]] dwarven clan, whose clanhold was located in the foothills of the [[Giant Spine Mountains]]. Clan Aidas survived the Cataclysm and went into isolation, but perished soon afterward due to infighting and [[Shadow]]-caused insanity. The clan elders made a deal with rogue [[cysgor]] for a portal into Shadow to maintain their power despite the effects of the Cataclysm; this portal had side effects that poisoned minds and caused the clan to self destruct.

Known to be iconoclastic and arcane-oriented much more than most dwarves. It is thus appropriate that the city built around their abandoned clan hold, [[Shinevog]], embraces invention and the arcane in all its forms.
