This was the culminating event of the liberation of the [[Temple of the Moon]] from [[Awakener]] corruption. The [[Stone Throne]] military units moved into position to the west of the temple, drawing the tribes away. This allowed the adventurers to ascend the shore-side cliffs, landing on the great moon crystal jutting from the temple's dome. There they descended into the temple and defeated the husks of the druid-priests inhabiting the temple, holding them off long enough to deploy an angel-made interference-generator on the crystal. This freed the remaining, lingering spirit of the Green Moon, allowing it to purge the remaining Awakener influence.

== Consequences ==
With the awakener influence in the Stone Throne mostly removed, the threat from the rogue [[Ophidian]] tribes basically ceased. The temple itself became a place of primal power, extending a calming influence over the west moon sea.
