An organization of the dead, operating out of the [[Demenses of the Mad Queen]] in the [[Waste]]. These crazy dead folk have taken it upon themselves to fight back against the [[Waste]], taking up the role discarded by the ancient [[cysgoroesi]], but without most of their power. In this futile quest, most blightguard only survive a few years (instead of the ~100 that most of the dead manage) before being consumed by demons, sent beyond the [[Infinity Gate]], or driven utterly mad.

For all the blood and horror, they're also some of the most stable, well-meaning, ''chillest'' folk in [[Shadow]].
