== Events ==

* Venturing into the [[Nocthean Caldera]] to investigate why the [[Hungering Frost]] has been so quiet, they encounter the mythic craftsman [[Wayland Smith]] and ask him to design them an airship. He demands certain parts.
* They also assist in building the Bulwark, sealing off the upper valley from the lower caldera floor.
* In searching for various pieces, they
** Enter the [[Plane of Wind]] and make a deal with the ruler of a cloud whale, treating for the necessary equipment to trap lightning essence to serve as the motive power.
** Discover the hiding place of [[Nocthis]], a ritual site where she incarnated (and was held in stasis) to avoid the destruction of the gods at the [[Cataclysm]]. They end the ritual, granting her the necessary worshipers to re-ascend as an [[Ascendant]].
** Enter [[Beastholme]] and treat with a Court of Winter for a fey spirit to serve as binding and guiding spirit for the airship.
** Discover [[Adron's Folly]] and treat with Adron, whose foolishness enabled [[Isskap]] to start the Winter War. Defeating him provides the necessary crystal to serve as the heart of the airship.
* They return to [[Lyodnoir]], where they convince the queen to lend them the resources to have a ship built in [[Byssia]], serving as the hull.
* Taking to the air with a crew of goblin gunners, they encounter the white dragon who serves as [[Isskap]]'s right hand. Grievously wounding her, they force her to flee into the [[Plane of Ice]]. They then land on the top of [[Mount Nyx]] and sabotage the planar ritual that bound the frost to the land, thus ending the primary threat of the [[Hungering Frost]] (even if [[Isskap]] herself wasn't dealt with for another year).
