			The Dreamwall begins just west of [[Honedaxe]]; a spur extends down toward [[Lake Coy'in]]. It then traces the southern shore of the [[Sea of Dreams]], encompassing [[Cape Proudmoor]] and forming the northern border of the [[Sea of Grass]]. It runs into the [[Giant Spine Mountains]] ~100 miles SW of [[Zhapai Karmap]], where the average elevation increases by several thousand feet over the course of a few dozen miles.

			Unlike many of the other major mountain ranges, the Dreamwall is not one continuous range. Instead, it's a mountainous region composed of several ranges connected by high moors, broad valleys, and forested hills. Its average elevation sits around 800-900 ft, with the mountains ranging around 4500 ft in elevation. Cut by many passes and valleys, the area is quite navigable and hospitable to settlement, although the circuitous routes, rough terrain, and lack of navigable waters means settlements here are fairly isolated. Which is how the settlers tend to prefer it.

			The main geographic regions of the Dreamwall are (from east to west):

			* Giant's Neck -- the narrow band of mountains directly west of the Giant Spine Mountains. Ranges from 35 to 50 miles wide. Higher than most of the rest and much more isolated, this region is settled only by tribes (human, ihmisi, and giant-kin mostly) that disdain contact with the rest of civilization.
			* [[Cape Proudmoor]] -- the high cape that juts north into the [[Sea of Dreams]]. Partially cut off from the civilized regions by a band of higher mountains, most of this area is only lightly settled moor-land.
			* Central Range -- the "civilized" region to the south-west of Cape Proudmoor, stretching NW from [[Eastwalk Dutchy]] up to the [[Cragholm Range]]. Lower than most, this is often considered "foothills" by the real mountain folk.
			* Dreamer's Highland -- A second cape, due west of Cape Proudmoor. Occupied by some dwarven clans and other hardy folk. Not suitable for ship landings, as the cape stands 500+ feet above the sea. One of the original mountainous regions pre-dating the [[Cataclysm]]'s changes to the landscape.
			* [[Cragholm Range]] -- a spur near the [[Cragholm River]].
			* Westwalk Range -- the remainder of the range, other than the Elfspur. Becoming the economic powerhouse of the whole region due to the port at [[Honedaxe]]. Generally fairly low, with occasional peaks.
			* Elfspur -- the band of mountains running perpendicular to the shore on the border with [[Kotimaa]]. One of the other original mountain ranges.

			== Geology ==
			The Dreamwall is mostly composed of granite and limestone. The soil is quite rich and especially suitable for mixed forests. Deposits of metals have been found throughout, but especially in the [[Cragholm Range]].

			Geologically, the Dreamwall is extremely new for the most part. While some areas are older (Dreamer's Highland and the Elfspur in particular), the area was only a range of high hills at the verge of the basin occupied by the [[Flower Kingdom]] until the [[Cataclysm]] caused the land here to split--the south and west rose up in mountains while the basin sunk and was flooded.
