Known as the Mother of Monsters, Echidra was a pre-[[Dawn War]] wyrm who was altered by the [[Nameless]] into a living, eternal weapon. This transformation was not of her own will, but she and her children wreaked havoc during that age-old conflict. After the war, she and three of her brood were imprisoned on [[Aenimos]] by the Powers on the testimony of her fourth child, the being now known as the [[Twisted]].

Her aspect is Creation; bringing all things into existence.

==Shape==
In her Mortal-plane form, Echidra is a multi-headed dragon-hydra hybrid, without wings. She has 7 heads, of which the central is the primary. She stands more than 40' tall at the shoulders and approximately 100' long if she stretches out.

==Children==
She had four major children, one for each element.
* [[Anzu]], Stormbringer, is a tremendous roc with mile-wide wings. He represents air, freedom, and change.
* [[Behemoth]], Devourer, is a lizard-like creature with destructive breath and enormous regeneration powers. And unquenchable hunger. He was the only one ''not'' freed, as his only desire is to destroy and consume. Represents fire, destruction, and hunger.
