A small settlement on the western edge of the [[Blood-thirst Wildlands]]. Founded by the [[Freeport Company]] in 249 AC, it hopes to become a gateway for settlement and exploration of the wildlands.

Not technically part of [[Byssia]], the Company acts as the government, in conjunction with a mayor chosen from the settled folk. It's only current trade routes are with [[Byssia]] proper, so its independence is notional unless another route can be found. Currently Byssia has no interest in administering it, although that might change if the port is developed or becomes a threat to their interests.
==Population==
Roughly 200 individuals, about half of which are farmers and the rest are either dock workers or would-be adventurers.
