A pre-[[Cataclysm]] and post [[War of Souls]] nation that dominated the north-west corner of [[Noefra]] (on what is now the [[Frozen Coast]]). Made up of dwarves and gnomes primarily, although many other races were present, the ID was known for being technologically advanced, militarily powerful, and staunch in defense (but unwilling to meddle in other nations' affairs). Its capital was [[Hammerhead]].

The Iron Dominions were destroyed by the Army of Chaos during the [[Cataclysm War]]. A few survivors formed the [[Khaimal]] nation. Since the fall of the [[Hungering Frost]], they've concentrated on rebuilding and fortifying the ruins of [[Hammerhead]].
