The proximate cause, as discovered by the [[Nameless Soefra Party]], was that a devil-inspired group of assassins from the [[Kingdom of Mirzapor]] had slaughtered his mate [[Aluadi]] and his young clutch of children under the banner of an emissaries..

			In another timeline, nameless adventurers saved his mate from the assassins and forestalled a war of retribution. In that timeline, the Kingdom and the Dragon became friends, until 96 AC when the Kingdom fell to devil-worshipers of the cult of [[Korv'al'zagan]] and raised a fiendish army to besiege his capital. More nameless adventurers assisted him in holding out, preventing the initial fall of the walls to treachery and providing critical assistance against the fiend-dragon leader of the invasion. They held out until [[Aluadi]] and their allies among the [[Red Lightning]] flight arrived. What happened after that is unknown to the prime timeline.

			In yet another, where the [[gwerin]] did not retreat from the [[Great Rift]], Kozhun and [[Aluadi]] were local rulers, peacefully coexisting with the other kingdoms. When the Fragment was released from its prison in 247 AC (the cause of the [[Reweaving]] in the prime timeline) and gathered its army of corrupted creatures, Kozhun, Aluadi, and the hosts of heavens and hells gathered at [[Greenwood Reach]] for the final battle, with the failsafe of angelic destruction of the continent. The suspiciously timely arrival of yet more nameless adventurers (who seemed to be similar to the ones from the other timelines) allowed the [[Eyes of Qa'desh\|Right Eye of Qa'desh]] to be brought to a ritual, which weakened the Fragment and protected the allies long enough for them to banish it to the [[Oblivion Gate]], weakening its influence across all timelines.

== Policies ==
Kozhun's policies are best described as "stationary bandit". He extorted taxes and slaves from the conquered peoples, subjecting them (via viceroys) to his every whim. Rebellion, refusal to pay taxes, or even just displeasing him (or failing to amuse him) resulted in raids by his draconic allies.

== Downfall ==
In 97 AC, heroes gathered in [[Mirzapur]] and a rebel army (aided by the [[Moonshell Dragon Flight]] and the undersea residents of [[Ikel'Mer]]) drew the Kozhun's attention (and that of his forces) away from the heroes. They entered his lair, destroyed the source of his power (said to have been stolen souls trapped in glass vessels), causing him to falter and be downed by the ancient of the Moonshell. He was then killed by the common folk of the rebel army and his army was scattered.
