Known as “the head in the jar”, Nikola was a dwarven mage and artificer in pre [[Cataclysm]] [[Godsfall]]. his specialty was the [[Portal Network]], with a side line in magitech augmentation. When the city fell to demons, he preserved himself by putting his head in a fluid filled jar attached to manipulating appendages. he then, once it was clear it would be a while, put himself into a dream state. He was rediscovered and revived by the [[Godsfall Champions]] and became the primary expert for the [[Federated Nations]] on the portals, mapping out their termini.

He passed away in 238 AC of natural causes.
