It was founded during the [[War of Souls]] that ended [[Tibor Imperia]] and was abandoned during the rise of the [[Hungering Frost]] after the [[Cataclysm]]. As of 250 AC, the remaining undead and other forces that occupied it have been mostly cleaned out, but the city still remains in ruins. There is significant debate in [[Wyrmhold]] about what should be done, while the more expansionist parts of [[Byssia]] want it returned to [[Byssia]]n control along with the rest of the caldera.
