Technically, he is younger than she is, but he has been active for more time. This pact makes Oro-laen the most approachable of the demon princes, and simultaneously one of the least attractive to make pacts with. He will not countenance betrayal (just ask the [[Dark Lady]]), and has no problem working with "heroic" adventurers to destroy those that pose a danger. His cult, while it engages in necromancy and black magic, also is one of the more controlled--it teaches that practitioners of necromancy must maintain control at all times and not let their servants prey on innocent lives (more out of practicality to avoid crusading heroes, but...)

==Physical Appearance==
Oro-laen appears as an elven wizard of no particular beauty or refinement. His robes are always spotless and pressed--that is his one vanity. But those who have beheld him all agree that his eyes are his most striking feature. To look into them is to stare into the Abyss itself, to watch the [[Oblivion Gate]] that writhes at its heart. Certainly a disconcerting experience even for the strongest soul.

==Personality==
Oro-laen is dour, with little passion or emotion. He does employ dry humor. He never raises his voice or shows anger. Honor is everything--those that keep their word are favored. Those that do not are destroyed. He does not have patience for foolishness--those that seek him out are advised to be thoroughly prepared and to the point.
