			== Basic Information ==
			Like all elemental planes, the Plane of Lava is not entirely made of what it sounds like. On the equatorial slice, it presents itself as a chain of volcanos--the space between them a rock-strewn volcanic moonscape. There is one major city, [[Nara Kara]], built into the slopes, lava tubes, and caldera of the largest of the volcanos, Mt Narak. Water is rationed, accessible only to those in good standing with the [[Cult of Burning Law]] who rule in [[Alastor, World Judge\|Alastor]]'s name. What seas and lakes exist are brimstone-filled and require purification for mortals to drink.

			=== Ruler ===
			The Plane of Lava is ruled by [[Alastor, World Judge\|Alastor, called World Judge]], an ancient [[Wyrm]] who ascended during the first age as one of the very first [[Elemental lord\|Elemental Lords]]. Of all the Lords, he is often judged to be one of, if not the strongest individually. Thankfully, his direct appearances are rare, for his justice is merciless. His will is carried out by the [[Cult of Burning Law]] via the Masked Judges who speak with his voice. From his judgements there is no appeal and no mercy.

			[[Plane-touched\|Fire-touched]] [[dwarves]] and [[humans]], called "Vulkates", their [[plane-bound]] kin, fire giants, salamanders, and efreeti make up the bulk of the population. Very few un-touched mortals reside here--those that do are slaves bought from the [[Plane of Coal]] and tend not to live very long in the ash-strewn wastes.
