A small goblin tribe in the north-eastern area of the [[Nocthian Caldera]]. Ostensibly friendly with [[Wyrmhold]], they were tricked/bribed/threatened into participating in false-flag attacks against the town of [[Medvyed]] in an effort by the [[Red Ice]] tribe (under the direction of the War segment of the [[Deep Mind]]) to spark a war between the forces of [[Wyrmhold]] and those of the [[Hornet Tribe]], the Shrikenest's insular southern neighbors.

This was halted by the efforts of [[Half Measures]] and the Shrikenest have now become formally allied with [[Wyrmhold]] after the [[Red Ice]] were defeated at the Battle of Medvyed in late summer 251 AC.
