An artifact harp, created by [[Leviathan]] and containing a fragment of that being's own soul. Given to the [[Cysgoroesi]] as part of the [[Pact with Death]], and then lost at the fall of [[Lyo Duo]]. Recovered by [[Enigma]] from [[Glorious Waters]], where it had been used as a brainwashing tool by the God-Kraken [[Sings-Songs-of-Glory]].

== Physical Description ==
As an artifact, the harp is capable of altering its size and shape, although it usually presents as a medium-sized lyre, with frame of ivory and shell. The strings are gut, but never need tuning. The ivory comes from a narwhal's tusk; the shell from a dragon turtle, and the strings from the gut of a great whale--[[Leviathan]] itself gave the pieces.

When it's feeling formal, it transforms into a large concert harp, and the decorations become encrusted with gems (especially pearl).

== Capabilities ==
The harp has many properties, although its true power is still shrouded in mystery.

* Voice of All : The wielder of the harp can create the sounds of any number of instruments, even instruments that have never existed and voices, simply by thinking--although it prefers to be played, the actual playing doesn't matter for the sound.
* Empowered Focus : A bard who attunes to the harp gains +1 to the saving throw DC of all their spells and can use it as a casting focus.
* Cooperative Caster : While attuned to the harp, the wielder can cast the following spells. Each spell can be cast once per day without expending a slot, but they count as bard spells known for the caster. If they require concentration, the harp concentrates on them when cast using the free use.

* Extra cantrip: While attuned to the harp, the wielder can cast the ''toll the dead'' cantrip as a bard spell.
* Sensitive: While attuned to the harp, the wielder is under the effects of ''detect thoughts''. Using the probe deeper option does not end this effect, but it cannot be used on the same target again for 1 minute.

== Personality ==
On the surface, Soul's Stillness is a perky, happy, peace-loving creature. She presents as female.

Due to her imprisonment and misuse at the hand of the [[Mkhulu]] in [[Glorious Waters]], she has developed a strong rebellious streak--she dislikes being ordered around or those who bark orders. She ''hates'' slavery and forced labor and will not attune to anyone who supports those.

Ideal: Freedom and peace

Bond: I was created by [[Leviathan]] for the [[Cysgor]] and want to protect them.

Flaw: Extremely stubborn when told to do something she doesn't want to do. No forgiveness or mercy for slavers or slavery.
