New page

Said to be a magically-hidden vault, built by the Aelvar but repurposed by Tibor Imperia to house "weapons that should not be used lightly". Its exact contents are unknown other than a few names, but everything in there is said to be a proverbial double-edged sword, as dangerous to the wielder as to the enemy.

The name is related to some common roots in both Yonwach and orcish, meaning "forbidden" or "taboo" or "danger".

Access
Access to the Taurishen is difficult. It requires assembling four pieces of a magical map as well as acquiring an amulet of passage. The map reveals the location; the amulet grants access. But even if you know where it is, the map is necessary. Some theorize that it actually exists in a demiplane.

The map splits into pieces, but the pieces can be used to locate each other and the amulet. During the post-War of Souls era, the pieces were kept in separate kingdoms; their locations were lost (along with most knowledge of the Taurishen itself) during the Cataclysm War.

Contents
Not much is known. Some names:

* Hordebreaker, said to be a longbow capable of slaying armies.
