History records two things called "Titan-Wyrm Wars". Both happened during the [[Ages of the World|First Age]].

== The First Titan-Wyrm War ==
No one's quite sure why this started. All we know is that the [[Titans]] and the [[Wyrm]] (or large portions of them) fought for a millennium or so. Creation vs destruction--maybe the argument was over aesthetics? No one knows. All that's known is that the [[Titans]] lost, but the [[Wyrm]] did not follow up and destroy their enemies. Maybe they were too battered to continue?

== Fallow Time ==
Between the First War and the Second War was a fallow time, when the survivors regrouped and rebuilt their civilizations.

Near the end of this time, the [[Titan Conclave]] gathered to prepare for what they considered the inevitable resumption of the war (which they denied they had lost), creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. They began work on the [[Orb of All Might]]--the empowering of which created the [[dwarves]] from much of the titan race (those the Conclave considered "lesser").

== The Second Titan-Wyrm War ==
A frantic attempt to stop the completion of the Orb, Titans against Titans, dwarves, aelves, goblins, and wyrm. So not really titan-'''wyrm''', but Titan Conclave vs everyone else. It failed...or succeeded? In the end, the Orb was activated, shattering both [[runic magic]] and [[true sorcery]]. No more would mortals wield the true words of creation directly. In the backlash, titan became [[jazuu]] and [[giant-kin]]; [[wyrm]] became [[dragons]].
