Septarch of the [[Cysgoroesi|Bran Vras (magpie)]] sept of the [[Cysgoroesi]], Zadok is [[Jael of Myji]]'s co-conspirator and close ally. An aging cysgor, he is known for his arcane power and his knowledge of ancient artifacts.

== Appearance ==
A wizened, almost skeletal man, Zadok is not pleasant to look on. Large splotches of discolored skin cover his face and hands; he mostly keeps himself covered by a hooded robe. When he walks, it's with a limp and one shoulder is higher than the other. It's said that his physical state is payment for his intense magical power.

== Capabilities ==
Zadok is an archmage-class arcanist, specializing in divination. Beyond that, he wields the center piece of the [[Ebony Rod]], and unlike [[Jael of Myji|Jael]] is more than willing to employ its powers. Zadok goes nowhere without an escort of elite Shadesteel Guardians.

== Politics ==
Zadok is an open [[Cysgor Politics|Expansionist]], but says very little in council meetings. He prefers to work in the shadows and through others.
