The event that ended the [[Ages of the World|Second Age]] and shattered the [[aelvar]] empire. Druids, working under the influence of the [[Awakener]], cajoled the Third Moon into leaving its orbit and coming crashing down onto the [[aelvar]] capital. The resulting devastation carved out mountain ranges and trenches in a huge circle around it, which still exist to this day.
