A lone, low mountain peak rising out of the Great Eastern Dustlands. Located about about 250 miles north-west of Shaadval, it is considered holy to the Dead Walkers, a tribe of the Dust. Scattered histories record that it was the site of both the beginning and the end of the War of Blood, being the birthplace of Gromach and his twin as well as the site of Serak's death in the fortress built there. It is also the site of the first cysgoroesi fortress monastery to fall.
The mountain's peak (rising about 1500 feet off the surrounding terrain) is an intensely cursed site, where the boundaries between the Mortal plane, Shadow, and the Abyss are very thin. Overlapping there are layers of reality. Even the Dead Walkers dare not get too close--they practice their holy blood rites down near the base of the mountain.

In late summer 250 AC, an unknown event (seriously, it's a mystery. No one knows why. Really.) caused the mountain to abruptly collapse. And by "collapse", you should read "implode into itself until there's nothing but a still-smoking hole in the ground several thousand feet deep". Simultaneously, Lyo Duo in Shadow collapsed. At the time of collapse, many, if not most, of the Dead Walkers were encamped at the base of the peak and were caught up in the dramatic inversion of the mountain and vanished. Also attendant to this event were earthquakes felt as far as Shinevog, with aftershocks felt for several days and a huge plume of smoke and dust.
