In late 251, a heresy started spreading, seemingly without source, among the [[Byssia|byssians]] of the [[Nocthian Caldera]]. It spoke of a time early on in Nocthis's ascended life, where she was a powerful arcanist and not yet ascended. Instead, she served her (ascended) husband, a male deity named Elphas, whose aspects were justice, rebirth, and the moons. This heresy states that Nocthis betrayed Elphas and stole his divinity, ascending herself at the same time she imprisoned Elphas in a burning hellscape prison, there locked in stasis for all eternity...until someone freed him.

Elphane Heresy

In late 251, a heresy started spreading, seemingly without source, among the byssians of the Nocthian Caldera.
