Rest of Ages Inn

A rambling complex of private rooms, eateries, drug dens, and treatment rooms. Dedicated to dreams--both becoming lost in them and becoming free of them. This is the center-place of the plane, Lamies the Silent's court, although that enigmatic figure does not hold court in a normal sense. Mortals and non-mortals alike come here to escape the pain of their lives, either by seeking oblivion (temporary or lasting) in drugs or magicked dreams or by seeking psychic surgery to remove unwanted thoughts, dreams, and personality traits and substitute new ones. It's rumored that one can have their personally completely altered...for a price. The prices are only denominated in coin for the least-consequential services; other ones require payment in the coin of favors and acts. They do not share customer information, but certainly keep it.

Staffed by Lamies's enigmatic, androgenous-looking "elven" relatives, all of whom have at least telepathic powers and prefer silent speech to audible vocalizations. Some have whispered that underneath the facade of neutral "elven-kind" lurks a much more disturbing reality--that they are winged, hunched, oddly-proportioned (almost stretched), extremely pointed-eared creatures with snake-like slitted eyes and needle-like pointed teeth. But not too loud, of course.
