The ancient first servant of Primordial Death, an immense wyrm. Reclusive. Lair is the Infinity Gate. Guardian of said gate.
In ages past, he made a pact with the cysgor (the infamous Pact with Death), whereby the cysgor would watch over Shadow, keeping it clean and moderating the factions of the dead. He also empowered the Gleaners to serve as his agents in the mortal plane, communicating with them via a network of cats who serve as psychopomps and relays and partners for the gleaners.
Around the start of the Third Age, the cysgor broke their pact and most of the gleaners were killed in an influx of demons.
