Mara

One of the domains in the Astral plane. Nicknamed "the home of Desiring". Of the domains (other than the Celestial City), it is of middling size--neither as compact as Aaru nor as expansive as Ghenna or Naga Padoha.

A mix of country and city, this domain is covered in greenery and lush vegetation. It has an area of about 500,000 times that of Quartus. It contains the homes of Sakara, Peor-fala, Aerielara, and Kela-loran. The lucian territory here is that of Mara-deva.

Notable Places

• The Cherry-blossom Palace. Home to Sakara and her aides/hangers-on/court, this rambling mansion and garden is home to all sorts of cute things.
• The Home of Beauty. Home to Aerielara and her court. This is a sprawling district home to artists, musicians, as well as pleasure-seekers and pleasure-givers of all sorts.
• The Diamond Coin. Home to Kela-Loran, this tower complex is a giant casino and trade hall for all sorts of goods. Contracts on soul-energy are bought and sold here, as well as gambled in arcane games of chance.
• Serpentine Palace. Home to the Queen Ascendant.
• Mystery. Home to Nocthis.
• Bela'ka'Beleth's music industry, along with most of Family Beleth. This is abnormal, since most of Leiutis resides in Aaru.
