Nightmare Scar

A tribal confederation located to the south west of Ikela. Their territory extends from the Jalshea River in the east out into the trackless jungles of the central Great Rift and from the <name> mountains that form Ikela's western border on the north to the union of the three rivers into the Jalshea to the south.

The tribes of the Nightmare Scar are mostly united in their distrust for everything Ikela. They were many of the most devoted followers of Kozhun in his reign. In more recent times, they've started squabbling among themselves.

Tribes

• Swift Spear: A small zandolit tribe that lost most of its members to a corrupted elemental creature (in league with the Gaping Maw). Now stabilized due to Nameless Soefra Party. Located along the river.
• Gaping Maw: A large zandolit tribe that had overwhelmed several others with corrupted strength. Suffered a major loss at the hand of Nameless Soefra Party.
• Tor Ysa: A village of gwerin and humans that originated in a different timeline. Friendly. Located quite centrally.
• <Shattered "human" tribes>: The southern uplands tribes are all of human descent, originating in at least one other timeline. Not much is known about them.
• Windfoot tribe: Located along the Jao branch bordering Ikela, this zandolit tribe believes themselves to be the heirs to the Dragon Tyrant's empire. They hold onto a cursed relic of his reign.
