The first adventure of the Shame Menders, in early 210 AC. The party found themselves hired to go to Fuar Uulan and figure out the causes of the unrest among that normally stable population.

WARNING: CONJECTURE

The remainder of this is only known fragmentarily, from diaries of people involved.

The party discovered that there were multiple groups claiming that the ruling clans had no right to do so. There had been attempts to break into the Deep Archives, and odd occurrences there leading to them being sealed. Turns out the groups were being manipulated by the dragon Gozh, who had a grudge against the Alkh clan.

The party, after making allies of the Listener, managed to get access, where they discovered the truth of the situation:

The Alkh clan had betrayed the Bolor clan before the Cataclysm, letting raiders into their clan hold so they could steal the Rune Anvil. They had contracted with Gozh for magic to help them in exchange for a fossilized dragon's egg...but had welshed on their part of the deal. And, to top it all off, had lied in official writings about this.

The party decided to use this information to blackmail the entire top council (who knew about it) into resigning in disgrace, leaving their successors unaware of it. They managed to chase Gozh out by confronting that coward. They did not reveal the truth of the matter to anyone.

Soon afterward, the party, along with dissatisfied individuals and the (repentant) council, started a trek north-west toward the old Alkh and Bolor clan holds.
