An ancient fortress/estate built by the Phoenix Empire sometime during the 2nd millennium BC and abandoned a few centuries later. It was built to guard the northern exit of the only tunnel through the Riftwall Mountains and the only land connection between the two halves of the continent. From here, the "failed" creations of the Phoenix Empire's bio-engineers were cast out into the Great Rift and the door was held against their return to the Solar Highlands to the south.
Contains the only accessible (to Noefrans) node of the Portal Network in Soefra. The whole area is under the direct control of the Adventurer's Guild by special dispensation of the South Ithemban government.
