An angel of the Second Host, Second Legion, she had the rank of planetar. Unusually for her status and legion, she believed that the fallen demons could be reformed. As such, she volunteered to serve as one of the living anchors for the Pactum Battlefield's Grand Barrow. Confined to a demiplane for the next 200 years, her faith turned to anger and bitterness against both the demons and mortals. Blaming Atijok for daring to be corrupted into a dracolich, she tormented his soul via his phylactery (which had been placed in her care).
Formerly a devil of Marchosias, he was chosen to hold the soul of Pygmis Neris while she slept in the Great Barrow of Pactum Battlefield. He made his home in a pocket of the Abyss, where he quickly abandoned his faith and charge, becoming demonic. He was slain by the Heroes of Pactum and the soul liberated.

The Heroes of Pactum managed to take advantage of her madness to steal away the phylactery. She rushed to confront them in the mortal plane, only to be met by an avatar of Melara and one of Ytra, who gave judgement into mortal hands and forbade her (and anyone else) to interfere.

Feeling betrayed by the gods themselves, she decided that the only path toward peace and security was to wipe out all intelligent life. Abandoning all she stood for, she traveled to Shadow opposite the Dead Halls, where she began creating an undead army out of the bodies and spirits of that cursed place. This plot was foiled by the Wild Cards, who faced her down, denounced her for her abandonment of duty, and destroyed her. In her dying despair, she begged the White Skull to intervene, claiming to have been doing his infernal work. He briefly manifested and concurred in the mortal condemnation of her lack of faith and duty. This dual condemnation of an angel by a mortal and a demon for dereliction of duty fulfilled the requirements to end the imprisonment of Perkunos and Tatsuryuu.

Her angelic blade, now fallen along with its master and named Duty Denied, came into the possession of Thon Mountain-break, who later cleansed it, remaking it into Duty Affirmed.
