Once an angelic blade belonging to a planetar-class angel known as Dezhuura. Used to slay Dezhuura's lover Viltis when she believed that Viltis had betrayed their god, it sat in the corpse for over two centuries. When Viltis and Dezhuura were redeemed and became The Redeeming Blades, they discarded the blade as tying them to the past. It passed into shadow and become an intelligent weapon and patron of warlocks.

Pact

Redemption makes the pact of the hexblade with seekers. It seeks out those who need strength to protect others and those working in worthy causes and offers strength in return for service. Redemption asks of its clients that they give of self to keep others from making mistakes and to protect those that cannot. It has an especial hatred of deception and lies.

It will abandon those that seek power for themselves or who use their power to oppress the weak.

Ethics

Redemption is Lawful Guilt-tripping. It believes in bright-line rules and gets after those who break those laws. It really doesn't like ambiguity or "nuance", preferring to cut through the fog of words to the heart of the matter. It will never lie by omission or commission.

Power

Redemption is one of the weaker patrons. It is currently wielded by a paladin who, in life, served in the Sinner's Tear. It only has a few dozen clients, but is working to build up a network of agents. Its strongest contacts are with the Sinner's Tear.
