Cheesemonger's Society

The blandly-named but powerful cartel that wields substantial power in Rauviz City and the surrounding area. Composed of most of the great merchant houses as well as the largest agricultural factors and transport companies throughout the former Council Lands, its halls are the truest halls of power in the region.

   3. Extremely greedy and stingy.
   4. Commercial money-lending is their gig.
3. Cheesewright, Stilton
   1. Elderly human woman. Widow.
   2. She and her husband founded the Cheesmongers ~45 years ago.
   3. Intensely political, believes in the Golden Rule (He who has the gold makes the rules) but also in the duty of the rich to help the poor.
   4. Wealthy, but her influence is waning.
4. Reginald Dahlia
   1. Rauviz-born, one of the ranking members of the Golden Banner.
   2. Human, 60s, now retired from active adventuring but physically fit and not afraid to get his hands dirty.
   3. Extremely jaded about human life and willing to be brutal, but is also pragmatic and stays away from needless violence.
5. Glossop, Stiffy & Madeline
   1. Half-elves from Crisial City, in their 30s.
   2. "New Money" from discovery of artifacts on their land.
   3. Happily married, but blatantly open marriage (both bi).
   4. Newest among the upper crust. Often a balancing force, as they're fairly hippy. Extremely sybaritic/hedonistic.
