Sat'psa Leng

Isal Leng wielded his birth as the last son of Isal Balin by his first wife as a weapon in the interminable disputes about the succession. As a luang, he has become the largest land-owner in the Southern District, owning multiple villages across the southern portion of the district. His farms are not the most productive, and Isal Leng lives an extravagant lifestyle. He has long been in debt to money-lenders from the Central District. Over the last few months before the Devil's Rebellion, however, he paid off most of his debts, reportedly in unminted bars of gold and in unworked gems. It was discovered that much of this wealth was being funneled to him via the devilish Red Lantern Society that owned him.

Jovial and pleasant to be around, he is popular among the lesser nobles and the Lai for his extravagant parties and lavish lifestyle. He ws married to his second wife (the first left him about 2 years ago due to debt issues), a beautiful young woman of about 20, daughter of a local khun. He only has one living child (by his first wife), a man of about 60 years who is serving in the military in the Northern District as an officer. They were estranged up until Leng's death, which ended the Devil's Rebellion and thus he escaped condemnation. He is still living in the northern territories.

Demographic Information

A human man in his early 40s, Isal Leng was a rarity among Fang-kin. He was fat. Standing about 5'9 and about 250 lbs, he was covered in rolls of fat that jiggle when he laughs (which is frequently). His hair is golden, and his nose is flushed from a life of drinking. Mechanically, he's a Noble (MM), but without the weapon proficiency.

Nobody stays angry at me or around me for long, since I can defuse any amount of tension.
