Genie

The varieties of genie are the elemental equivalent of the upper-ranking devils--ageless individuals tied to elemental planes. Many, if not most, were lucians who migrated to the elemental planes after their formation in the wake of the Dawn War.
While there are 12 elemental planes, there are only four major categories of genies:
- Djinn
- associated with elemental air
- Dao
- associated with elemental earth
- Efreeti
- associated with elemental fire
- Marid
- associated with elemental water
