The only female Septarch among a patriarchal race, Bilbah of Deverel (Beavers) is a hard woman driven by intense ideals and convictions. The head of the Renunciates, she would withdraw from Shadow entirely, abandoning the monasteries.

Politics

As the founder and head of the Renunciates, she believes that Shadow is causing the decline in fertility and the malaise that is dragging her people down. And for good reason--it is. She doesn't believe in the "silly stories" of the Pact with Death--she blames demonic forces for the steeper decline after the "supposed" breach of that "supposed" pact. She believes that the old traditions are what are destroying her people, and she wants to break with the past entirely. She has a hatred of the Shadesteel Guardian program, considering them demonic in origin and anchors tying her people to toxic shadow.

It is whispered that she wants to do away with the Septs entirely and reform the people along different lines.

Capabilities

Unknown, but she has survived many challenges and assassination attempts. It is known that she's an unarmed combatant of significant power.

Appearance

Bilbah could have been attractive (or rather striking) with her bright sapphire eyes and symmetrical form, but her hardness and intensity make that...difficult. Her jaw is always firmly set as if she's chewing on rocks. One of the younger septarchs, she's only (subjectively) in her 30s and is chronologically the youngest, since she spends so little time in Shadow.
