Pyros, the All-consuming Flame

Of the Elemental lords, Pyros is the only pure elemental. While most of the elemental manifestations fade back into the stuff of the plane, Pyros has developed his own Name, giving him independent existence. It is unclear exactly how this came about, but his consistent personality and identity have been attested since the mid 2nd age.

Some scholars have speculated (without direct evidence) that Pyros is actually an extension of the Fountain of Fiery Renewal, effectively its mouthpiece.

Personality

Pyros is fickle and has a noted tendency to both destruction and mercy, both usually in their extreme forms. He has no ego or normal place of residence, appearing seemingly at random.
