Ascension of the Serpent Queen

In late 205 AC, the Catalysts freed the exalted Queen of the Stone Throne from her demonic bindings. This did have consequences--having been a conduit for many sacrificed souls and having vastly outlived her normal lifespan, her physical frame and soul became unstable. If this continued, she would have suffered a cataclysmic spontaneous existence failure, probably destroying the entire city of Ar Salem Dolem. So instead, she decided to use the stored residual aether to ascend, becoming an Ascendant instead. Short version: she succeeded and is now the Queen Ascendant.
