The holy place of the Horse Clans. Its location is not widely known to outsiders, although all reports put it near the mouth of the Kairen River as it empties into Lake Coy'in at the eastern edge of the Lupaus Plains.

Outsiders are forbidden to approach the area, and ships on the lake report extensive reefs in the area which preclude further easy approach. That's not to say that adventurous individuals haven't approached...but none have returned. The Horse Clans guard their secrets jealously.

Truth (252 AC)

Pyhin is located at the mouth of the Kairen River as was believed. It consists of clusters of gnome (Puuha) houses and winter homes/storage for the Horse Clans around a (now collapsed) temple/cave complex. After the demise of Vetel, the illusion of rocks in the bay was banished, revealing a nice harbor. It has since become an area of significant commerce, cutting lots of travel off of the Wyrmhold/Crisial route...much to the dismay of the folks who lived along the Dragon Road.
