Titans
In the beginning, the Dreamer created the 8 + 1 Primordials to aid him in the construction of a world in the Dreaming Dark. To serve them in their tasks It created the Progenitor Races, numbering six. This is the story of those that trace their descent from the servants of Creation (AKA Order), the Titans.
Tasked with forming the physical bones of the world, the Titans were built in a variety of shapes and sizes. Most notable were the Great Titans. Humanoid figures supposedly standing 80-100 feet tall, made of metal and stone and clothed in glowing runic words, these majestic creatures shaped the world, creating valleys with their fists and scooping up mountains. Wielding the power of runic writing they warred for dominance with the Wyrm during the First Age of the world after the Dawn War. But as all things must die, so did the Titans. When, in hubris, the Titan Conclave created the Orb of All Might to gain victory over their perpetual foes the Wyrm, they empowered that fell device by draining the pussiance from their lesser kin. Those victims, reduced in size, stature, and might, became the ancestors of the modern-day dwarves.
The Orb was then used to similarly diminish the Wyrm, creating modern-day dragon-kind. The resulting backlash shattered both the Orb and the runic power used to create it. The remaining Titans fell as well, quickly losing the ability to manipulate their own size as well as outside matter. They are currently known as the Jazuu or goliaths; those who have survived ritual transformations with what remains of the runic power are known as giants.
