An War of Souls-era facility run by the mad half-elven bard Solus vos Caen Designed to imprison creatures associated with Leviathan for study (attempting to break into the Allsong). Mostly unsuccessful. Encased in an oval magestone dome, the facility housed Solus, entertainment slaves, and imprisoned sea creatures and experimental subjects. The surrounding area was a town, dedicated to a minor goddess of song.

During the War of Souls, one of the enslaved residents sacrificed herself to concept bomb (invoking Broken Memory) the area and surrounding settlements. This was…partially successful. Solus himself survived mostly intact by calling on the Twisted, becoming the Maestro. Many of the inhabitants were bereft of memory and song. The surroundings were mostly laid to waste; the inhabitants were driven mad.

It returned to normal space in 248 AC. Borrowed Song itself remains mostly dry but the area around it is flooded (depth about 80' max, 5' above the high point of BS). The former inhabitants, now twisted abominations (sea spawn + Deep scions), have adapted. They remember nothing about the past and seek to capture and corrupt anyone who enters the region.

In mid-249 AC, Crescent Dream arrived to contain the area. The Maestro reacted and lured most of them into a series of traps, capturing and corrupting many and killing/wounding others. Since then, CD has remained mostly to prevent the corruption from spreading.

In early 250 AC, Enigma cleansed the site, destroying the Maestro and freeing the remaining imprisoned creatures.
