Northern Badlands

A broken region of gullies, ravines, steep hills, and other nasty terrain located south-east of Tal Elamor between there and the Shaanti Forest. The southern sea-shore is inhabited by the Kor Abantu, and the interior is inhabited by isolated groups of humans, orcs, and giant-kin. Most of them dislike outsiders and each other.
This stands as a major barrier to land trade between Nirda/Tal Elamor and the rest of the continent; there are no permanent roads through the badlands.
Settlements
- Kavu. On the north shore of the Torvan Gulf. Population of roughly 3,000, including a significant Clan Mafan garrison protecting the local iron and copper mines.
