Raised in the Nocthian Caldera, Thon was one of two sons of the chief of the Mountain-break clan. This clan broke with the Hungering Frost after the construction of the Frostbound Wall (206 AC). Thon and his older brother Brom Mountain-break were endlessly in competition. Brom hated Thon after Thon won a contest against him. After becoming disaffected when he wasn't given leadership rights, Brom made a deal with elements of the Frost, and led them in secretly. Other than Thon, the entire clan was killed. Thon was exiled in mockery (to live with shame).

Thon swore vengeance against Brom, made his way out of the Caldera and ended up joining the Adventurer's Guild in late 210 AC. After finishing training, he and the rest of the Wild Cards were assigned to explore the area beyond the Hammerhead Portal. See the campaign pages for more details.

Later in life, he settled down as lord of Zhapai Karmap. He has been promised that, once he dies (assuming he stays valiant), he will be raised up as an ascended in service to Perkunos, his friend and object of his worship.

Demographic information
A tall (9'), strongly-built goliath, Thon wears gaudy golden plate armor and wields a sword of angelic make (Duty Accomplished). His bevy of magical items gives him the strength of a storm giant, as well as letting him jump and create small earthquakes.
Personality
Arrogant, not smart (but also not willing to acknowledge that). Ready to violence.
Ideal
Freedom
Bond
His friends are his family and he'll kill for them.
Flaw
See chair, sit in chair. Plus bull-headedness.
