Sin Eater

A heretic group of devout worshipers of Peor-fala, the Sin Eaters believe that their calling is to clear the way for the faithful to enjoy peace by doing "what must be done for the greater good." By which they mean purging any "unclean" element (ie devils, demons, orcs, goblins...basically anything but humans, halflings, elves, and dwarves, and they're not so fond of elves and dwarves) from the world. This has not won them any popularity contests with the greater populace.

Really, while they claim to be empowered by Peor-fala (and they do wield divine power), some god-watchers believe that really Pinwheel or Roel Kor is behind the whole faction. Why? Just for laughs, and to poke Peor-fala, who can be a bit preachy at times.

They're headquartered in the True Hold, a small fortress village on the Sea of Dreams east of Godsfall. Since they were established in 202 AC, they've split into a hard-core faction (headquartered there) and a much larger, more moderate faction that has learned to work better with others and is part of the Duarchy of Kotimaa, headquartered in Elysium in Godsfall.
