Aidas

A pre-Cataclysm dwarven clan, whose clanhold was located in the foothills of the Giant Spine Mountains. Clan Aidas survived the Cataclysm and went into isolation, but perished soon afterward due to infighting and Shadow-caused insanity. The clan elders made a deal with rogue cysgor for a portal into Shadow to maintain their power despite the effects of the Cataclysm; this portal had side effects that poisoned minds and caused the clan to self destruct.

Known to be iconoclastic and arcane-oriented much more than most dwarves. It is thus appropriate that the city built around their abandoned clan hold, Shinevog, embraces invention and the arcane in all its forms.
