Battle of Medvyed

The head of the Red Ice Caldera tribal alliance and a force of about 200 mixed soldiers, along with a "superweapon" marched on Medvyed in the late summer of 251 AC, en route to Bedni to "liberate" the Industry core of the Deep Mind. They were working under the direction of the War core.

They were met at the pass through the cliffs by a force of militia, local goblin tribes, Wyrmhold engineers, and Half Measures. It went badly for them, in large part due to traps and archers. The frost giant leader was killed, the lobster-mecha "golem" was disabled, and the War core removed. This event caused the Shrikenest goblins to formally ally with Wyrmhold and the Hornet and Tuatha tribes to become much more friendly.
