Crystal Spire

A tower, made of an unknown crystalline substance. Impossibly tall and slender, its height is indeterminate. Everyone who measures it gets a different answer, and flying attempts have never reached the top. Surrounded by a titan/aelvar-work labyrinthine base structure.

• Spire part built by the Builders back in First Age
• Labyrinth/base built by titans and expanded by aelvar later.
• Spire: 100+ levels, each with many demi-plane doors. Each person only gets one door per level, no matter how many times they come by. Core + stairs up (covered some times). Tons of monsters (or facsimiles of monsters)
• Base : Labyrinthine corridors & doors and labs & monsters in cages. Partially cleared out, used as training grounds for adventurers.

Suffered some form of temporal anomaly (likely an early concept bomb) during the mid 2nd Age and reappeared in 216 AC. Site of the aborted Crystal Spire War; also the site of the signing of the Crystal Spire Protocols. Currently administered by the gwerin of House Tuathail.
