Duster

The name given to the various tribes that inhabit the Great Eastern Dustlands of central-eastern Noefra. They are uniform only in that they generally do not get along well with outsiders. Or each other.

A few of them, especially those near Shadvaal are:

Altai

Ihimisi (and cross-breeds) tribal confederation. Horse and sheep. More tied in with civilization than most. Due to poorer lands, they hire many of their people out as mercenaries (the Horse and Bow group).

Chuvashka

Human (and cross-breeds). The traditional allies of Shaadval among the duster tribes. Detest the Dead Walkers, as they continually lose people to the heretics.

Azeri

Orc (and cross-breeds). Very superstitious. Militant and proud warriors. Don't mind the Dead Walkers all that much and are one of the few who willingly cooperate with them against the Hagfen.

Dugai

Mixed human/ihmisi. A dying tribe, squeezed from all sides. Their only refuge is a rich oasis hidden in the broken lands. Peharzh in particular pushes on them, and weak leadership has led many to defect either north or south.

Bashkai

Mixed human/ihmisi Once part of Dugai, they broke off about 40 years ago. They hate dragons.

Pelotai

Orcs (no cross-breeds, those are exiled). Consider themselves the "true heirs" of Gromash. Honorable but brutal.
