Huntmaster
One of the elder-most fey, of the same "generation" as the Morrigan and the Summer King, the Huntmaster is one of the more enigmatic. Officially part of the Summer Court, his obsessions are complex. Some say he watches over Beastholme itself, over the souls and beasts and over the plane itself.
He manifests as an enormous (although of variable size, but rarely under 7' tall and over 600 lb) humanoid figure except with branching antlers, as if those of an elk, with shaggy brown hair, dressed in rough skins and furs. He rides a colossal roan horse named Horse, said to be a Great Spirit itself, the ur-horse (although some dispute this), standing 8-12 ft at the shoulder. Horse, despite its size, easily keeps up with the more normal-sized horses of the Wild Hunt and is said to never tire while on the track of prey.
Responsibilities
The Huntmaster is the head of the Wild Hunt--some claim that much of its vital force comes from him as if it were an extension of his own Name. He is also a member of the Court at the Palace of Shimmering Waters, as a close ally of the Morrigan.
Alliances and Enemies
The Huntmaster is an ally of the Morrigan and of Lae Loara (it's said that he knew her and acted as her patron while she was a mortal). He otherwise doesn't get involved in politics.
He hates the Abyss and all demons with a passion that exceeds most of the rest of his kindred, who already are terminally opposed to the jotnar and all their works. He is not a fan of the more interventionist Ascendants, and he and Lon-Ka have a personal beef of unknown origins.
