Katie of the Living Story

A young brass dragon, daughter of Marcelline and an unknown father. Bright, friendly, and inquisitive, she was barely out of her wyrmling phase when she helped the Heroes Foretold finish the Living Story of Auringon. Like her mother, she hoards stories--in her case, it's more ancient tales (although she doesn't disdain more contemporary fiction). She's less interested in the every-day and more in tales of adventure, drama, and romance. While she does take human form and is capable of casting some spells, she's not nearly as good at it as her mother.

A small young dragon, she only measures 12 feet from tip to tail. Her scales are a bright brass with little variation (as is common for young dragons). Her eyes are bright green. When in human form, she commonly prefers to look like a fairly androgynous young blond-haired human woman of medium height and sleight build. Her eyes give her away even in human form--she hasn't mastered them yet.

Personality

Extremely restless and curious. Can't help sticking her nose into anything that seems even remotely interesting. Which is everything. But good hearted--she does not like hurting people or seeing them hurt.

Happy endings. The good guys 'will' win.

Bond

Thal is my only real friend and the Eternal Library is my home. Don't mess with them.

Lazy and overly-curious. Can be bribed trivially with a new book.
