Last Resort Pass

One of the names for the 70-mile descent from the Nocthian Caldera's eastern rim down into what is now Wyrmhold, a vertical drop of over 10,000 feet. This ground was contested bitterly by Wyrmhold in the decades of war against the Hungering Frost. Since the end of the Frost's reign over the Caldera, it has become a much more friendly place, with construct-driven lifts carrying cargo and passengers up and down and switchbacks taming the steepness of the descent.
