Marcia (Dragon)

From Dreams of Hope
(Redirected from Marcia Dragon)

Marcia is the use name of the adult brass dragon who used to reside in the Aerie above Kaelthia and who considered the city and the surrounding day’s flight (~100 miles) her personal horde. Naturally gregarious, she spent much of her time in human form mingling with the common folk. She was known to “request” (order) people to come to her lair and tell her stories. In return she payed them out of the treasures she’d acquired since the Cataclysm. She and the Immortal Bard are good friends, both having been adventurers in the same band at the time of the Cataclysm.

She will not tolerate chaos within the domain she claims, but rarely gets involved in politics. She exercised the ultimate veto over the Council until the fall of the Council Lands Government. From 227 AC until 250 AC, she was in a state of healing sleep deep in the Ladyfrost Mountains outside of the Holy Kaelthian Republic after being attacked by assassins working for the Guildmasters, watched over by the Immortal Bard. In 250 AC she was awoken by Enigma and she and the Immortal Bard have taken up notional residence near Honel, Crisial Kingdom, although they do a lot of traveling, especially to the east.

Personality

Loves stories. Hoards stories. Will hunt people down and (politely) detain them until they tell her a story, even if it's one she's heard a million times, although she prefers new stories.

Ideal

Free Thinking. Freedom of inquiry is not only a right, it's a duty.

Bond

The Immortal Bard is my anti-anchor, keeping me from boredom. But he needs me just as much as a touchstone of stability (which isn't easy for me), and I will always be there for him.

Flaw

Easily distracted by "Once upon a time..." Has a hard time focusing on the here and now, prefers to live in a world of stories.

Default Alignment

Chaotic Good, near the Chaotic Neutral border. Generally good hearted, but still a chaos monkey.
