Prophet of Law Unveiled

An enigmatic figure that has completely taken over the government of the Holy Kaelthian Republic since about the High Spring Festival of 251 AC when he appeared. Reports indicate that he was once a junior monk of the Church of the Seasons, cloistered in the Temple of the Four. Since his renunciation of his former name, he has shown great power, foiling multiple attempts on his life by assassins loyal to the old government. He has never acted against anyone who didn't act directly against him or his folk. Reported to be extremely charismatic, capable of converting dire enemies into allies in a short sermon.

He has the total loyalty of the Holy Hands, who act as his enforcers.

He preaches the Law of Truth, a quasi-monotheistic (but not god-centric) religion/ethos based around hard work, avoidance of "mercantilism", and inward living. By all accounts, he lives it as well, wearing nothing but rough monk garb and going barefoot, eating grain pottage and dark heavy bread and drinking nothing but water.
